- Theatre doors generally open at least one-half hour prior to curtain.
- For live performances, the lobby bar will be open for refreshments before the show and during intermission. Depending on the nature of the event, refreshments may be permitted in the auditorium for live performances. Bottled water, sold at our concessions bar, is always allowed inside the theatre.
- As a rule, children under three years of age are not permitted at live performances. Exceptions are made for performances geared specifically for children. Children who are in any way disturbing the performance experience for neighboring patrons are required to be removed from the theatre immediately.
- Every patron, including children, must have a ticket.
- No smoking is allowed in the building.
- As a rule, cameras and recording devices are prohibited. Please check with the Wheeler in advance if you are curious about whether this policy applies for your event.
Performance Etiquette
We want our audience and performers to enjoy all events free of noise and distraction. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if their behavior is disruptive to others. All beepers, pagers and cell phones must be turned off prior to the performance. All photography and recording devices are prohibited according to artist contractual agreements. Parents, please use discretion whether your child is old enough to sit quietly through a performance. No children under three years of age are permitted at live performances.
