MountainSummit: Mountainfilm In Aspen is a unique collaboration between Mountainfilm In Telluride - long acknowledged as the leading film festival for adventuring and advocacy - and the Wheeler Opera House.
Now in its second year, the festival brings artists, activists, and adventurers together for four days of brilliant film and speaker programs featuring award-winning documentaries with their creative teams and subjects, plus talks from some of the most interesting people working on the planet today. A half-day "Moving Mountains" symposium is a cornerstone of every Mountainfilm, taking an in-depth look at some of the greatest challenges facing our world today.
"Good films and good conversations" is how Mountainfilm festival director David Holbrooke capsulizes the festival experience. "Brain food for the soul" is how we describe it.
